Ok,, this is kind of strange to put something so bare bones on my site but it is going to be fun to watch from the photograph arrangement to the step today of the line drawing through the detailed pastel that I normally post. I have had some problems lately in my displays where people don't realize they are pastels and think many of them are photographs . This step by step will help show how to get to the final process. There is absolutely no detail and I am very uncomfortable posting this but the progression and transformation will happen pretty quickly. I hope you enjoy the ride.

This is how I start out with a portrait. The client sends me the reference photos and then we start arranging them in a way that works to the animal's advantage. This will be fun to post from start to finish with this portrait
I forgot to post the final of Rocotillo. This piece is 24" x 30" so it makes a statement when you see it. I forgot how much I enjoyed working with oils and plan on adding more into my portfolio.
I never posted the final shot of the oil I did of this llama. It is 24" x 30" so it is a statement piece. I enjoyed doing it so much, I plan on adding more oils into my portfolio.
This is the frame that cause my dilemma. I could just see a tiger looking through the opening.
