I just finished this pastel this week. This tiger is going down to SOCA Galleria in Huntsville Alabama. 

I like this frame because it is a barn wood. I use it a lot when I frame portraits of animals.

I am going to call this one finished   :o)

I was bored with the white background so I added some warm color,, 

I am so excited about this project. I am illustrating my first book.  I am so happy to do this because not only are these great books for the young horse enthusiast, the author has included wonderful messages into each book.
