I am at the ALSA Grand National Championship Llama Show in Lincoln Nebraska with my Art Booth and this is what I am working on today. The reference photo is on the top and the pastel is on the bottom.

I have started adding some more detail to this portrait. The fun thing about doing artwork is you can change things that you didn't see before and adjust to the way you see the photo or reference today. Yesterday I considered leaving the portrait loose and without a lot of detail, but today I decided it needed more detail. I am happy with the progress.

I started on this horse yesterday. I am liking the progress it is taking. Hopefully I will be adding depth to the portrait today and have enough change to post an updated photo

This portrait has taken longer than usual. I started over several times until I got the the place where I am today..Portraits are very personal to me and if I don't feel comfortable with it, I keep starting over until I am at a point that feels right.
