This is stage one of Preston. As you can see, his eyes are still strange and there isn't much detail. I am posting several portraits right now in very early stages so clients can see how they are progressing and after approval, I can detail them out and ship them to their new homes.
This is the beginning stages of my latest portrait. It is a Scottie. This gives you an idea of what it is like when you do a black portrait,, it is important to have plenty of lighting to show highlights, otherwise your portrait will have no details.
I am not sure why I can't find this in my gallery. I figured I would put it in since it is different from the camelids I have been posting lately.. again,, it is all about the eyes for me
#27 is the name of the llama. He was an import and he came over with that name and it stuck.
Today's post is a portrait I am doing from a piece that was commissioned at the ALSA Grand Nationals,,, I have blocked in the color and I will wait to see if I am going in a direction the owner likes before I put in the details
