I wasn't sure how I was going to like this portrait but I am really happy about the way it turned out. I like how the white pops. It actually pops more than the photograph shows

I have been doing a lot of dark animals lately. Dark animals can be difficult to show depth so you have to look for colors you wouldn't normally see or think you see. This is what makes it interesting
I am about ready to call this one a rap. If I can get my pencils sharpened a little sharper, I will go in and work on the eyes more but it isn't a big pastel so it is hard to get detail into something so small,, but I am happy with the way it has progressed,, I will probably sit back on it a couple days and see how I feel with it then and if I still like it, it will ship out to the new owner :o)
